Las Vegas Motor Speedway set to dazzle fans’ NASCAR Weekend appetites

In a city famous for celebrity chefs and their world-class eateries, it is only fitting that Las Vegas Motor Speedway offer its guests more than the standard hot dog-and-hamburger raceday fare during NASCAR Weekend.

Executive Chef Howard Smulo of Levy Restaurants is excited to welcome hungry race fans back to America’s Racing Showplace with a signature array of new menu creations befitting a leading sports and entertainment venue.

New specialty items will include:

Bucket o’ BBQ: Scrumptious stacks of house-smoked barbecue, including fans’ choice of sliced brisket, pulled chicken or pulled pork, accompanied by cherry peppers, homemade potato salad, signature Levy Restaurants BBQ sauce and southern coleslaw, served inside a tasty waffle bowl. Bucket o’ BBQ will be available at the Smo-que ‘n’ Hot tent.

eNVy Specialty Sausages: A pair of juicy sausage links loaded with premium toppings. These will be available at Flame ‘n’ Fuel.

eNVy BBQ Tri-Tip Sausage: Delectable tri-tip sausage served on a warm roll, topped with signature Levy Restaurants BBQ sauce and crispy southern coleslaw.

eNVy Reuben Sausage: A twist on the classic Reuben, featuring Tapatio thousand island dressing and homemade sauerkraut atop a custom corned beef sausage.

Walkin’ Taco: A mouth-watering mixture of fresh beef, spicy jalapeno peppers, shredded lettuce, fresh salsa, creamy cheese sauce and refreshing sour cream, served together inside a Doritos bag. Walkin’ Tacos will be available at concession locations in Section 2, beneath the suites.

LVMS cocktails and cold beverages served in a unique, take-home cup, are available at all bar locations and concessions outlets throughout the event.

NASCAR Weekend at LVMS kicks off on Thursday, March 6, with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice featuring free grandstand admission. Qualifying takes place on Friday, March 7, with Stratosphere Pole Day. The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes center stage on Saturday, March 8 with the annual Boyd Gaming 300 at 1:15 p.m. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series KOBALT 400 is scheduled to start at noon on Sunday, March 9.
