Kasey Kahne to participate in NASCAR-NHRA charity softball game

From Hendrick Motorsports

Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS, will join fellow and former NASCAR Sprint Cup competitors to help raise money in a slow-pitch softball game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 at CMC-Northeast Stadium in Kannapolis.

Kahne will participate in the NASCAR team, which will face off against a lineup of NHRA talent, including Top Fuel Dragster star Tony Schumacher and Funny Car competitor Ron Capps.

Starting at 5 p.m. local time, all drivers are scheduled to participate in a pre-game autograph session. Please note rosters are tentative and subject to change.

The event will benefit two charities, as selected by the NASCAR and NHRA drivers – the Armed Forces Foundation and the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Tickets are $20 for reserved seats, $15 for general admission, and are on sale now. Click here for more information or to reserve your tickets.
